Chinese Zodiac Compatibility — All 12 Animals

Chinese astrology judges a match on two systems: the Six Harmonies (六合, six natural pairs) and the Three Harmonies (三合, four trines of three). Clashes matter too — and they are not the verdict most people assume.

About the clash

Six pairs sit opposite each other in the cycle and are said to clash: Rat–Horse, Ox–Goat, Tiger–Monkey, Rabbit–Rooster, Dragon–Dog and Snake–Pig. A clash means two people who pull in genuinely different directions. Handled consciously that is productive — it means someone is always questioning the plan. Handled unconsciously it is corrosive.

And remember: your animal is one pillar out of four. Two people with clashing animals and compatible day masters often do perfectly well.

Compare two real charts

Animal compatibility is the coarse layer. A full BaZi comparison is the specific one.
